The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

I went to a house warming party of a friend of a friend on Saturday evening. It was freezing outside so it was nice to be greeted by a warm blast of air as the door was opened to us. There were four of us that went together and we met another two friends whist there, so it made for a great evening of relaxing chat and dance. I had the company of a girl I had recently met, we met on a course I am doing and that she has now finished, we have only been serious for about a month or so, I have this tendency to get physically involved very quickly with people. The party was moving along with more and more people turning up and the 'air' was very friendly.

In one room there was music of all different genres banging out the door, I was in my element. There was a buffet type relaxing room with the kitchen being turned into a bar. The house heated up and the drink flowed.

We were all inter-mingling and doing our own thing and as it was getting late I decided to stroll about. I walked into the ‘music room’ where a beautiful slow song was being played only to see my ‘partner’ hanging on to some guy with her tongue rammed down his throat!

I’m going to leap to the end of this episode.

Normally she would have stayed the night at my place, so as I drove to ‘her’ house with just the soft music playing and her drifting in and out of an intoxicated slumber we pulled up. I helped her out the car and into her flat. I sat her on her sofa and turned and walked out leaving her newly cut key on the sideboard.

Another New Year has arrived. Time, seems to be the one ‘constant’ in my life that is honest with me. We’re all going to be a year older as this year moves on but I wonder how many of us have learned lessons or gained experiences from last year?!!
